Your SS # should be on your license. Just go to your local SS office and apply for another. Take your license and birth certificate.

Well, according to the Social Security Administration, you need to apply for a new card. You must fill out form SS-5, titled "Application For A Social Security Card." This form is pretty basic. Just follow the directions. You will need to take this form and something that establishes your legal right to work in the United States, like a passport, birth certificate, visa, green card, etc. If you do not have something like a passport or a visa that also provides a picture, you will also need to take your driver's license in order to prove your identity.
Once you have all of that information, you need to take all of your paperwork to your local Social Security Administration office and present it to someone there, who will order you a new card. You can mail it, but you have to send the originals in the mail. I would reccomend going to the office in person.
On the source link listed below, the SSA has links to form SS-5, which can be filled out online and printed out before you go to the office, and there is a link to find out exactly what documents would be accepted to prove your citizenship or legal immigrant status. There is also a link for you to find your nearest SSA office.

If you look up the local social security office in your area, you can go apply for a new card. I don't think you can just get that information, they are very secure when it comes to SSN's. Call them and ask them.

Yes, bring it to your local Social Security office and let them know what happened. They will then mail you a new card.

Throwing away somebody else's passport is unlawful. Passports stay the valuables of the government and could be back to the government once you be conscious for a alternative. no count number if that's lost (or thrown away by somebody) then that must be reported to the police. in case you detect a passport you're required handy it into the police in case you could no longer return it directly to the guy it became into issued to.
