I am trying to think of some really fun baord games for adults, nothing dirty please.

If you're looking for more social, "party" games, I'll recommend Scene It, Mad Gab, Apples to Apples, Time's Up! and Taboo. If you're looking for games for smaller groups (5 or less) go with Blokus, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride and/or Ingenious.

Well drinking games are always fun. Also try Balderdash or Absolute Balderdash. There is also a really cool DVD game called Scene It. Lots of fun.

I highly recommend Imaginif and Would You Rather?
Imaginif (sp) has you write down several different ppl's names and someone gets a card that says, "Imagine If ______ was an animal. What would she be?" Then it gives everyone several different (funny) answers to choose from. Everyone votes and the ppl. who picked the most popular answer move.
Would You Rather simply asks things like "Would you rather, while on a camping trip, wake up w/ an ear full of ants or wake up w/ someone else's toe in your mouth?"
Everyone has to pick which answer the player will choose.

In addition to those already mentioned, I recently played a game called 'Quelf' which was hilarious. Another party game I really like is 'GiftTRAP' but you kind of have to know the people you're playing with. Both are available at Amazon and Funagain Games.

Taboo is hilarious to play with a bunch of people. You have to get a person on your team to say a word by describing it, however, there is a list of words that you can not use. If you do, you get buzzed by the other team. It's all timed. We've played this at parties and it is really fun.

We just cleaned out our game closet last week-end ... had to play a lot of them to be reminded if they were fun or not!
Some favorites are Balderdash (big fun), Hilarium, Guestures, Imaginiff, Clever Endeavor, Tri-Bond, Liar's Dice, Loaded Questions, Oodles, Catch Phrase, and... of course if there are only two of you, acey duecy (backgammon with a twist). LOVE them all! (We always have stories to tell of family gatherings and the fools we made of ourselves playing these games). Have fun!

How about Risk, Trivia Pursuit or Pictionary, all good games for groups of people to play.

Scattergories, Outburst, and Cranium!! These are the best games to play with adults. Especially if they have had a little something to drink!

well it is not exactly a board game but the game bunco is really fun if you have alot of adults, and the best part is it is really simple.

Trivial Pursuit and Taboo are great. Scene It is really cool and they have different versions that are fun.
