I doubt it. It sounds like you have sciatica, which is common in late pregnancy. I had it with both my kids. The weight of the baby presses on your sciatic nerves which starts near your hips and runs down your legs. It's uncomfrtable and may get worse, but you baby is fine. Congrats.

dont worry and dont rush, it just means that bubby is putting alot of weight and strain on your legs and hips, lets see men try to carry around a watermelon! The last 4 weeks seem so slow, but once u hold that beautiful baby in your arms, that will be your reward.

It might be from the weight of the growing baby, but I would have the Dr. check it out...just to be on the safe side. In the meantime, lie down and elevate your legs, take it easy

It means that your pelvis is opening for impending birth. It happens to everyone. The chemical your body releases to open the pelvis was so strong in me that it affected my wrists and ankles too. I had carpal tunnel and couldn't grasp things sometimes. As your pelvis opens to make room for the baby, the baby lowers and engages into that area cuasing pressure on your legs. HTH

I got those and my doctor told me it was the baby "dropping" into the birth canal -- although it didn't mean much. I was told it could still be weeks before I went into labor.

probably not. it probably just means your body is expanding as the baby is growing, which is going to start happening at a really fast rate this last month.

Not necessarily it just means that the baby is heavy and that delivery will be coming soon. Good luck and congrats!
