Our News in the South of the UK have been telling us all day that when Bulgaria joins the EU next month we will be importing even more organised crime than we have go already.
You cannot generalize and condemn all the potential arrivals but why are we the most popular destination and what % will be going to other EU countries?
Our Health service is stretched to the limit, housing and schools have to provide for them and the infustructure is just not in place to acomadate the amounts they say are coming.

No, we vote governments out, not sue them - and most of us loathe the "compo culture" of "I don't like something - sue someone!"

I can't answer your questions on percentages, but one reason why we are popular is our long tradition of tolerance and assimilation. Also, English is the world's most common second language.

Organised crime already exists and, in a sense, is self-regulating. It's evil and it's still evil whether run by British or Bulgarian. Why should there be more?

We keep having this argument about immigrants stretching our health service to the limit. In my experience, immigrants are propping it up - this country is getting the use of the skills of doctors and nurses paid for overseas, often by third world nations. In my area they are shutting schools down "due to empty places" (it's actually a cost cutting exercise) so a few EU immigrant children might benefit the whole community.

Your opening silliness about suing people apart, it's good to see a sensible question about immigration that doesn't become a racist rant, like so many. There are problems with immigration to be addressed - you are thinking about them in a pragmatic sense, not a racist sense.

I have a little knowledge of the European Union. The point you raise has already been discussed in the Sun not that long ago. If u visit the Sun website u will probably be able to pick up more info. It is not just Bulgaria.

I agree with u totally that it is a grave cause for concern but at the same time i think it is only fair to point out that the Government may well try to block the admission of certain Eastern European countries because of this. They may simply be outvoted.

There would almost certainly, apparently, be a sharp rise in organised crime with vicious gangs from these countries and perhaps more scarey, a rise in the number of firearms, particularly in the larger cities.

It does not bode well for the future but i think also u have to put some faith in the police and other security networks.

I don't think we know the half of it as to how hard these guys work to protect us and maybe they deserve a lot more credit and respect than they are given. Maybe it is because they work so secretly.

London, particularly, is an incredibly attractive proposition for them because it is one of the key cities in Europe.. I suspect it is going to be a watch this space job........

great question.

And they want to try that here in the US!

The government is out of control, where so many different people are elected, with so many different views, how can it ever work.
The one we have now spends more, and more money all the time on surveys and meetings, but not where its needed. And then when the money runs out they find something else to tax us on, to get them out of the mess they have made for themselves. So basically we the people end up paying for the government's waist of money and mistakes. And the more we pay in tax's, the lower our quality of life is. Then they have the nerve to say we are not spending in the shops like we use to, and the youngsters are not buying homes because they can't afford it. Well of course they can't because they tax & charge us for everything up to the hilt. Also when I was younger if items in the shop went up, it was by pennies now they jump up be the pound, meat being one of them. I think we should be able to sue them for miss-management. Sheila.

I think it is possible on grounds of maladministration, mismanagement and human rights if your looking at the way we are treated in JobcentrePlus.

But if your looking at the bigger picture, there's always been crime in England, it's not just the foreign arrivals, AND most of the foreigners work in poor conditions and don't receive benefits from the Jobcentre or the Health services. AND they pay tax.

i beleive the only knewspapers saying that are tabloids and the fact of the matter is they are not to be trusted on the other hand neither is the goverment, so yes we should be able to sue them. ultimetly we are only going to be popular for imigrants if we have the jobs they want and allso we pay some of the lowest taxes in europe so thats a nother reason.

Try voting out people while the electronic voting system your voting on is being hacked under our noses .So it's kinda hard to vote correctly in this land of the free home of the brave.

truly, governments are to blame for keeping their personal borders from invasion and their personal human beings from crime. as an party... individuals are loose to commute everywhere. yet, in case you disobey the regulations of the land you commute to... you'll finally end up in massive worry. The Mexican authorities is ecouraging this invasion, yet for sure with the blessing of "our" treasonous authorities. for sure, it would want to be accessible to stay away from illegals from operating, banking, making use of and looking out housing right here. We might want to be very careful to position the blame the position it belongs. "Our" corrupt, treasonous authorities is allowing a overseas invasion of the rustic!!! they prefer to be bumped off directly and punished for his or her treason in accordance to The structure. that is the genuine problem and the in straight forward words actual answer!!! The criminals who've overthrown our authorities like it at the same time as they could confuse us into misdirecting our anger and power elsewhere and they are too usually effective. Time for us to open our eyes. those criminals are not from now on our authorities!!! replacing American workers with overseas slaves isn't loose commerce!!! allowing a overseas invasion of the rustic is TREASON!!! those are acts of conflict adversarial to the yankee human beings through the criminals who've overthrown our authorities and pose as our authorities... as they unconstitutionally merge the militia with regulation enforcement to salary conflict adversarial to us as we awaken...
