My step daughter from out of town just called and said she will be in town next week and this would be the chance for the people up here that did not get to attend her baby shower in the other town last month. I am strapped for time and even getting the house clean. company ready and decorated for christmas is a task. What would be fun, easy and CHEAP things to do to entertain guest and a thrown together baby shower.

PS she is due at the End of December. (5% sure its a boy)

You can always use google to get some printable crosswords or other shower games......AND!!!!.....I have always loved the how many squares of toilet paper does it take to fit around the mom's belly! (or you can use yarn) it's hilarious because most people guess waaaayyyyy too big!!
I did my sister's baby shower in May and I also had her dress and diaper a baby while blindfolded to see if she could do it in a minute and a half....it was hilarious because the babies booties ended up on it's hands, and the powder for the diaper flew all over...the pants were backwards, and it was just ALOT of fun. Or, there's always the pass the baby food around and see if you can guess what the flavor is...(label taken off of course).

Just do what you are already doing -- make it around the Winter/Christmas Theme -- don't change your decorations -- but make it a blankie shower -- or sleeper shower. Something that would be fun and play off the Winter Nights theme. Serve Hot Cocoa/Herbal Teas and Cookies -- not much since it ALREADY is Christmastime.

play it simple: pink/blue steamers and balloons
play games like everyone has a clothespin on their shirt and if anyone catches them saying baby they take a clothespin off and put it on their shirt. whoever has the most pins at the end of the shower wins.
dou know the book the kissing hand? its a really good book and at a baby shower i whent to they had cookies with a heart cut out in the middle. then they gve the mom a copy of the book. it was very cute.

Use luke warm water and plenty of gentle soap and do not put the babies head under the showerhead...oh wait sorry wrong kind of shower.

Push the knicknacks to one side the furniture to the other get a couple of congenial hams in ther middle of the room to get it going. A Little cheese wiz and some crackers and some wine and there you go.
