Theologically how could anyone be for that or against that, the fact that God is a being so much greater then human comprehension for someone to say God did give us technology would be false and without any basis and to say God didn't would be much of the same.

Technology was not given to man by God. God gave man the brains to invent technology.

Yes, because we had so much free capacity in our brains, so we had to invent God, so that we could use that as an excuse to explain all the things in nature we didn't have the knowledge to explain...and ONE day, a smart guy found out about technology, but since he himself was quite stupid, again he turned to the oldes excuse in the world....the one that is so comforting for all of us...it is given to us by God.....

My God this is stupid! :)

No. Human ingenuity is responsible for technology. There is absolutely no evidence that points to it being given to us.
