but it's not the earth that is evil,
only me and you.
Don't be sad inside
it is not youth that has gotten cold,
keep writing your poetry; for there is truth to be told.
You've spoken your dream to me
but don't just stop there
pass along your goodness

It depends on the girl, in my opinion. Some girls like poems written to them from their lovers, and some find poems totally cheesy. Well if you ask me, i liked your poem! =)
