I am just wanting to know if this is a good book to read, please don't tell me what happens in the book, just tell me what you think of it.

"Hatchet" (and its 2 sequels- "The River" and "Brian's Return") were some of my favorite books when I was around 10 or 11 years old. Gary Pulsen's books are great stuff.

It is a younger persons book, i read it in 6th grade oi think, but i really liked it.

I read it in elementary school. I really enjoyed it a lot. The sequel is horrible, however.
