I got to level 8 on turok:evolution without a memory card (by leaving it on for about 6 weeks) but the missus was cleanin earlier and turned the bloody thing off! Why doesn't she understand why im p*ssed off?

We don't understand the importance of the Playstation because what we see is a person being sucked into the game and not caring about anything else. It is really not that interesting to us. It's like sitting around watching tv all day, only a little more interactive. We just feel that there are more important things in life. like spending time together and/or doing something productive such as cleaning the house. The fact that she turned off your game while cleaning thus erasing your game, is not her fault. You're the one without the memory card.

Hey, not all woman don't understand the importance. I'm a woman and i absolutely love my PlayStation. I worship it. It takes my mind off of all my worries. Anyway, i would also be well pee-ed off. Most other woman don't understand, my man Love's the fact that i love the PlayStation.
Ask your woman how she'd feel if while she was out shopping after having her eye on a couple of designer outfits just as she'd saved up the money to buy them, then got there to see someone else buying the last of them and her knowing she could never get them for herself? They were taken away from her. just like your game was, I'm sure she'd be sad! sorry!
And get yourself a memory card to save yourself next time, because guaranteed, next time you get into an row, she'll do it again just to get at you!

Why don't those who put so much stock into gaming understand the importance of women? I don't have a Playstation or anything like it, but I know it's gotta be more fun to play with my wife than play a video game.

She just wont understand, all you have to do is find something important of hers e.g. shoes then throw them away, now she will know how it feels and will think twice about doing it again. Although look on the bright side, at least your missus cleans!!

You had every right to be p*ssed off. I would have been p*ssed off two. Next time I would recommend saving the game before you leave, so your game doesn't get erased again.

I completely understand the importance of any gaming system so don't lump all women together as your woman she's just crazy :)

You should spend more time with your wife and less time on your playstation. That'll teach you to use a memory card in future anyway.

god know ow much ur eletric bill was if u kept it on for like 6 weeks. if you was that bothered about it you would got memory card. im glad i have 1 because me dad doesnt know what the hell to do when he goes on my ps2.
