Good friends and family deserve hand-made masterpeices that reflect your unique creative talents. If the person is within walking/driving distance i would pop in and personally hand the card over and share a few chrismas cheers with them (be it minutes or hours). Post your cards early enough to those you can't or don't want to visit so that you dont miss the christmas postal delay. I would never send e-cards or similar unless to infrequently contacted work collegues. They display an attitude of laziness, carelessness and apathy towards the recipient. Self-hand-made cards are definately worth the effort, recipients adore them and it's great fun making them unique to the individual and including personal jokes and shared laughter/joy.

Well I have bought some funny little papery things that fold in half with a lovely christmassy picture on the front. Inside the openy bit I'm going to write who it is to and then love from me (my name) at the bottom. Then I am going to put it inside another piece of paper which sticks down. Then I will write the address on the front, stick something called a stamp on it and put it in the big red pillary thing in town. Job Done!! It's really easy, you should give it a try!! LOL!!
