YES!!!! I am new to ferrets, I live in Manchester, England and I don't know anyone else with ferrtes. I love Freddie soooo much and think fuzzies are fantastic. Ferret math has struck for us and we're hoping to get a little friend for Freddie in the new year. I have found through this site lots of fuzzy owners and in my experience they are lovely people. Ferret owners unite, fuzzies rock!! xx

My first ferret, Loki (a male that's mostly dark with that little raccoon mask, he's about a year old) I inherited from my cousin. She grew tired of him and wanted a horse, so he came my way. Anyway, in the two months that she had the horse, I bought Zahra (female, she's mostly white with blue eyes and a brownish tinge on the tips of her fur) she's about 3 months younger than Loki. When my cousin gave her horse away, she waited a bit then went out and got a 3 year old ferret named Pixie, the previous owners thought it was a female, but, no, they were wrong. About a month ago, I came home to find Pixie sitting in his pen in my driveway. (by the way, the cousin is 27 years old and has three kids who are super lucky that she hasn't grown tired of cleaning up after and feeding them . . .)
The ferrets are happy little thieves now, and they really love my mom. They will nip her, and only her, they give kisses to everyone else. And when they are out to play, they like to corner her. They will leave you alone if you don't react to their little antics, but Mom will squeak and squeal like a little girl, and they take that as her playing back. Well, They'll do this all through the house until Mom retreats into one of the 'No Ferret' rooms, but a couple of weeks ago, they caught her off guard and literally made her wet herself, and chased her to the potty. It was so funny that I was on the floor laughing. Mom is still mad at them for that, but it is hard to stay mad at them for long. ;)

I have four, two boys, Bart and Ferret Bueller and two girls, Vicky and Socks. The boys were adopted from the Humane Society who was going to put them down.
They are the neatest pets, but not for everyone.
I've had to do CPR on Bart in May, well the breathing part anyway. He made it .
