Should I buy one with wheels or treads.

I always liked the wheels. Treads are harder to turn and maneuver.

I had a craftsman 5hp 21inch with tracks. That Little monster went through anything. It had a foot lever that would force the front end down as well as the rear of the tracks. I only sold it because I wore out the housing after 15 years of use. I would have bought another one but I decided to get an 11hp and they did not offer tracks on that one. Tracks are just as easy to turn as the wheel models in my opinion. They are harder to move without starting though. Also, it is critical that you lubricate all of the moving parts at the start and the end of the seasons as they will seize up. I learned that the hard way.
