yes, pregnancy and childbirth are a natural phenomenon, but so is teenage irresponsibility. The teenage years are by nature selfish, self-centered years, a parent must be selfless and put the childs needs first at all times, something most teens are incapable of doing. Not to mention the fact that as a teenager, you lack life experience, money, and are still working towards an education. Basically it comes down to two things. One-People want to see their teens live their own childhoods out completely first before having to grow up and take care of another child. And two- we want to see babies being born to parents who are prepared (or as prepared as any parent can be...) to handle the challanges and obstacles of being a parent. it's the toughest job any person can have and it should not be jumped into lightly.

there are alot of reasons. I do know in other countries teenage girls do have children and maybe in their culture its a natural process. I feel that if it does not effect your education and you dont have to pawn your child off on your parents all the time or other, if the babys father is supportive - financially and emotionally then i guess its not so bad. But in my opinion your teen yearrs are probably the best years of your life and should be spent having fun as well as planning for your future. But i guess the bottom line is the welfare of the child, in truth that is the biggest question of all.

it is more the fact that at that age they do not have enough resources to raise the bbies. Yet lots of kids do it with help of family and in many cases the grandkids get very close not only to there parents but there grandparents , aunts, and uncles who help out compared to other families
