I just posted a question yesterday regarding some symptoms I've been experiencing over the past couple of weeks. I've been getting some pretty viscous headaches, I've been nauseated and sensitive to certain smells that never bothered me before. I've been moody and always always tired. Oddly enough the past couple of weeks have been the best sleep of my life, seeing as I don't wake up a few times a night like I used to. I used to wake up a lot and was a very light sleeper and over the past couple of weeks I've been sleeping through the night and maybe getting up once, but even though I'm sleeping for an average of 7 hours straight I don't feel like I'm sleeping nearly enough at all. I did start my pill pack two days late, and I only made up one pill because I was a bit confused on the dosing. Last week I had a terrible headache and went to bed early, and did forget to take my pill by a matter of a few hours. I haven't "missed my period" yet, I'm not supposed to start for another

5 days, so I don't think that I would be having symptoms so soon. I hadn't really considered it until someone on this site mentioned it to me. So is it maybe the flu? Is it still possible that I'm pregnant?

The only true symptom or first indication that conception has taken place is a missed period. Additional signs may be slight; they include fuller, heavier, often tingling breasts, larger, darker, more sensitive nipples, more frequent urination, and drowsiness.

The only sure way to detect pregnancy, however, is by taking a home pregnancy test (hpt); then allowing your doctor to confirm the results of the hpt with blood tests. You reason to waste no time is because An alternation in hormone levels (i.e. missing a pill or/and pregnancy) can also cause these symptoms.

You don't always become pregnant when you miss a pill, Thank God. Sometimes, when you have been taking your pills regularly as prescribed, the pill can still be nearly 100% effective in preventing pregnancy; The more pills you miss, the more likely you are to ovulate and become pregnant.

Do consult with you doctor to confirm, though. They may even be willing to provide a pregnancy test for FREE.

Hope this answers your question!

The only way to put your mind at rest is take a test.

(If you can believe it I have even seen them at the dollar store. I know a few people that use them and they work fine.)
