Why not donate them to the nearest pet store instead of releaseing them into an eviroment that they have no chance of surviving in. Would you be able to survive without a supermarket or shop to get food? These pet mice do not know where to get food or shelter and don't know that there are predators every where. If you have too many find a shop that can take them or a rescue organisation.

Mice in captivity are often quite inbred (granted, not so much in the fancy mice as in lab mice) and have essentially become domesticated. Being inbred and living in a plastic bubble, they also have virtually no immune system. It's doubtful they would survive in the wild. Most pet stores will always take donations of things like that, or you could ask around and find someone who could take them... Releasing them into the wild would be a death sentence.

Why would you want too?
What colors are they? Do they stick out like a sore thumb? Easy for cats, coyotes, dogs, other critters to kill?
Do you notice the color of wild mice? The color is kinda blosa..the color helps them hide. If your mice are white and black or what ever your mice will have no where to hide.
Also you have fed and water these mice? Have you taught them to survive on there own? Have you taught them to find food, water etc. all by themselves? It is rather cruel to set a critter wild when the critter is not wild......Don't you agree?

I wouldn't. They're domesticated creatures and probably won't survive well. You can see if an animal shelter can take 'em or put out an ad to see if anybody will take 'em. If you don't care if they live or not, find someone with a snake. At least then they won't suffer too long and another animal will be fed.

I wouldn't. The local pet store will probably take them, I took some hamsters once. They probably wouldn't survive.

Don't release them. Give them to meeee! Lol.
But nah I'd say you probably shouldn't as they would be domesticated.
