Two rabbits off different litters should NOT be housed together at any age until after neutering.. They may be carrying diseases whih would only show up when exposed to another rabbit. Male rabbits have been known to be fertile as young as ten weeks and females at 8 weeks. When they have been living in close proximity for a while and have been neutered for at least a month then they could be put together.

I wouldn't risk it. I've had male rabbits show sexual behaviour at 3 months and the fact that the male is 8 weeks now and the female won't be arriving for a few more weeks puts the whole thing in a risky position.

If you want them to get used to each other before the male is neutered, place their cages/enclosures side by side so the can see, smell and hear each other without direct physical contact.

They can stay together for only about 3-4 months. i would make an appt now to get them a check up to make sure they are healthy and then make an appt to get both of them fixed. An unspayed female has an 80% cancer rate.

yes it is but keep in mind males mature faster than females,so your male may hump your female alot and a female rabbit is capable of producing babies at 4 months old, good luck to you
