I was listening to a radio show a little while ago where the djs pose as florists giving away free roses and then they ask where the roses should be sent to, with the idea of hopefully catching people suspected of cheating. Well today the story was that this wife caught her husband in their bedroom straddled over a woman in a thong giving her a back massage and he said that it was the trainer and he was just being nice by helping her with some back pain by giving her a massage. Then on the phone he said to make out the tag to another woman with the message that "I want to make things right and will be trying for the rest of my life". The dj asked if it was for a wife, he said no, she asked if it was for a girlfriend, he said yes. The wife came on and started asking him what he was doing and he backpedaled saying it was for a client and that he didn't really mean "girlfriend". Anyway...clearly he's been caught, does he honestly believe anyone would buy his crap?

It must be something pyschological. As a child I had the terrible habit of lying and even once I was caught, I would sometimes often continue to lie, all the while asking myself "Why am I lying?"

Literally, at 7 years old, If I lied I'd wonder what was wrong with me? Why did I lie in the first place? Why am I insisting that this lie is the truth, we both know its not.

Both meaning me and whoever was telling me I was lying.
