Yes but only if you havent already bought the baby something when he/she was born if you did this then no you dont just buy a card.

Well, it's a bit rude not to, especially if you're family.

Traditionally, people give silver gifts, personally, they're tacky as hell. Why not open the little blighter a savings account and chuck £20 in it. Other people will be able to add to it, and the little fella will have some university cash at 18.

The other thing to get them is a St Christopher necklace, it's meant to signify a safe passage through life.

You don't have to, there's not really a rule book on it, but I would at least get a card or something like that if you're not wanting to get an actual gift.

No you dont have o buy a gift but it is traditional to buy a silver gift i.e trinket boxes or jewellery o.k i hope it helps

Not necessarily but if you are a god parent you should and get used to it because you'll have to every birthday, Christmas and Easter. It is nice if you're not going to buy a present to buy a card.

You don't have to but it is a very important day for the parents and the baby. Everyone in my family does buy gifts. Alots of them got bible story books, relgious things for toddlers, bible bears. There are lots of things to get. good luck!

i would try peter rabbit bowl and spoon or a trinket box for baby's first hair
or even a nice silver photo frame for the parents to add a picture of the christing

somthing silver even a coin is better then nothing, it is a bit shamefull not taking a present, it is after all a very speacial day

I probably would. I would probably get a little book of Bible stories or maybe a little cross necklace that the child could wear when it gets older.

yea your suppost to, head to a christian store they sell all kinds of things like that. Or money and a card.
