Our influence on other countries is definitely imperialism. We have used the assets of other countries, keeping rulers in power in those countries because they are friendly to us. Allowing those rulers to get rich, leaving the people of their nations poor.
Consuming the assets of all these nations to benefit a select, international group. Global culture would be a wonderful thing, but that is not what is going on now. What is happening with the World Monetary Fund and the one world movement is domination by international corporations, with no allowance for human rights, labor rights, environmental concerns or for human beings. Only for capital. US is just leading the way for international corporate domination of the world.
