If you are having customer service problems with Amazon, I can offer a suggestion that worked out well for me. I drafted a polite letter describing the problem I was having with Amazon (after no success in dealing with their internal customer service personnel). I then searched out the names and addresses of their Board of Directors and mailed the letters to their board. You can find their board members names and addresses in their most recent Def 14A filing available in Edgar at www.sec.gov. Needless to say, they responded very quickly after that and I got my problem settled.
