I know this sounds wierd. President George Walker Bush is the, current, President in Washington. But who is the American Peoples, President? For example, I commented on 2 articles at www.washingtonpost.com {1}. Bush: Calls for Troops Drawndown Unrealistic {2}. Panel to Recommend Drawdown . I comment there regularly. I hope that people will take the time to read the articles and tell me what they feel. Our Troops need a President, so do we. Thanks Herbert West III west.herb@yahoo.com

Al Gore really won in 2000, but the 5 Republicans on the Supreme Court interfered with the vote count in Florida and paved the way for Bush to steal the election. Bush was selected, not elected.

Bush is the President in name only. Dick Cheney has been in charge of policy from the beginning. As he was a figurehead governor in Texas, he is a figurehead President now.
