I've joined the HGVClub last time we were on vacation in FL. However, we found out afterward that it doesn't meet our life style and basically we just can not plan for vacation ahead of time to make use of this timeshare. I would like to find out if there is a way to sell it. Details of the membership can be found in http://www.vacationownership.com/hilton/hilton_program.html site.

thanks!

There are several timeshare resellers out there.

Just realize that if you can get 50% of what you paid for it, you have done exceptional well. Most timeshares sell for about 30% of what you paid for it.

Don't expect to get back what you paid for it or make a profit, its just not going to happen.

One other suggestion, see if HGV club will buy it back from you.

Yuch ! Stayed there, hated it.

Anyway, there are a number of condo resalers out there but be careful! Some of them charge stiff fees to sell your timeshare. Go through one of the Orlando area realtors that deal in time shares. You can find them on line. I believe I recall a Coldwell Banker realtor who deals with timeshares. Good Luck.

Don't refinance it. Sell it. It is not worth what you paid for it. And in addition to double digit interest rates, you also have to pay maintenance fees every year.

Good luck. Selling a time share is next to impossible. If you figure out how, let me know.
