It's hard to know, although there's a start at places like http://www.upsdell.com/BrowserNews/stat.htm (there's no listing for Safari per se, but it will be one of the KHTML-based group). If you care about how many people are visiting *your site* with Safari, however, your best bet would be to use an analysis program that reports this information (Google Analytics will do this for free quite easily).

Even this, however, is not infallible, as some Safari users have the browser identify itself as something other than Safari (usually Internet Explorer), generally for compatibility reasons.

Well, MAC has about 5% of the market so that would be a good starting point.
