I like the term eurogenic which indicates European ancestry. But you and I should consider ourselves Mediterranean because, being Sicilian, we most likely have European (especially Greek), African, Arabic and possibly even Chinese blood coursing through our veins. Look at the history of Sicily. Lots of invasions from lots of different lands. We have a similar ancestral history to most of the Mediterraneans The reason I suggest possible Chinese blood is that Attila the Hun almost conquered Rome.

I have ancestors from Italy, Canary Islands, Novascotia, and France. I have a spanish last name, and look more french and Italian (hence I look like my mother more than my father.) (blonde hair green eyes, but with a curvy spanish woman body) People often question my last name as if it is a married name not brth name, because I am WHITE! Not tan! Not Black! Not a happy medium! They question how can a WHITE girl have so much booty like J.Lo.?
Some of my family is darker than dark.. I am not. I am White. It's what ppl see. It's what ppl generalize with. If everone were color blind I am sure we would have other terms of description that would still piss someone off. GET OVER IT! You are what you are. Sooo...Not everyone is Caucasian. It's a skin color. Not the only definative thing about ppl.

I am not from the Caucasus. The term Caucasian is a misnomer, based on the erroneous belief that White people came originally form that region. Not true. By the way, do you know what Russians call the various peoples who live in the Caucasus (Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Chechens, etc.)? BLACKS! It's an exaggeration of the fact that Caucasians-proper are darker than them! So I will no be referred to as a Caucasian!

That's funny..., the other day I was looking for my sons SSN card, and birth certificate in order to get him a state ID card, and ran across my mother-in-laws birth certificate. She was born in 1927, and they classified her as "color". My wife was born in 1965, and hers says, "*****". Our sons says "black", even though I'm Puertorican. Apparently in Louisiana it goes by whatever your mother's race is..., I don't really know. What I do know is that, I really don't care what our government wants to classify us as. Eventually someone is gonna get upset about being called one thing or another (you being a good example), and cry, and moan about it, and some politician just to keep you happy will take up the cause, and you'll be called something else.

We are all just one race. Most of us are of the belief that we came from Adam, and Eve, so that technically makes us all family anyway...

I'm actually irish-french-german. And I call myself white because it's the color of my skin, it's white. And it's easier. It's not my heritage! How can white be my heritage? You have no argument here.

You are welcome to your opinions but your definition of white and caucassion is YOUR opinion with no facts to base it on.

If you want to get technical we are not white - we are a very light shade of brown -brown being the basic color of humanity, its variations will lean darker brown to lighter brown.., there is no absolutely white persons (except perhaps in a few elbino birth defects).

I am proud to be what I am.., a Scottsman and Native American Cherokee mix..., and if you have a problem with that, I have to assume you are one of those trashy racist/purist types.

Coz saying white is much quicker than saying caucasian! Just like the black people, they're not black like midnight, but people still refer to them as that!
Black and white...we don't go into detail, it's kinda a waste of time!

that isn't what white means, at least not to anyone i have ever heard use the term. white means just what it means--not black, brown, red or yellow. my family is originally from poland, for the most part. i have no black, hispanic or oriental heritage. that makes me white. maybe not to you, but that's okay. there ain't no good guy, there ain't no bad guy. there's only you and me, and we just disagree...
