Not perfume, she has all she needs. Will probably spend about £50. Any suggestions welcome. She's 53, likes to think she's 20 years younger.

Gift certificate for a manicure & pedicure, or getting her hair done (at her regular salon) or a massage, or tanning or to her favourite clothing store.

And don't knock your Mum for thinking younger than her age...don't you know that 50 is the new 30???!!!! :)

How about getting her a gift certificate for a therapeutic massage. It will be so relaxing and it is probably something she would never get herself.
