I think the trend is going back to the older names like Sara and Timothy. Or make one up, my daughter just had a baby and named her Marlie.

I can't say, cause I don't want you to take my baby's name...LOL

But...I think nowadays it's important for a child to be given a name with a meaning, don't just name a baby after the liquor you had the night of conception or the actor you dream about at night. Give them a name they can be proud of. My real name for example is Cherokee for 1st born daughter, Swahili for pure/honey of god, and a Celtic variation for princess. I love it because there aren't that many people in the world with my name, in fact there are only 2 of us in my city. Enjoy the search, you still have time.

There are a few web pages you can check out -- naming a baby after someone seems to be the trend. Also naming babies after objects and things are happening too-- Like fruit --Apple, Cherry, etc. or Aurora, Crystal, River, etc.So it depends on what you would like to call your child. For boys, Monroe, Isaac, Seth, Jacob, Gavin, Joel, Andrew, Jonathan, and Josiah.

FOR A GIRL NICHELLE AND FOR A BOY MICAH. THESE AREN'T USED MUCH ANYMORE. I NAMED MY DAUGHTER VERONICA, SHE A 1 OTHER GIRL HAD THAT NAME IN ALL HER SCHOOL YEARS HAD THAT NAME.
