I think you can keep the inner child alive by acting like a child, not being childish. There is a big difference. I think most of the world's problems today are caused by people being greedy and childish. If everyone was more childlike and treated everyone like they wanted to be treated, we would be a lot better off today.

I sing alot, sometimes in my head and sometimes aloud, but I like to make up silly tunes. Like if someone is getting on my nerves, then in my head I might sing a tune like "This ***** is getting on my nerves". Then I can laugh at myself and it makes me feel better.
