Since 1967, who do you think has been the most undervalued coach? Someone who has achieved a lot without getting the credit - I've got my own choice, but I'm curious what others think.

How can some of you even consider Bill Parcells as "underrated"?
2 Super Bowl Championships, revived the Pats and Jets and Cowboys. I mean, are you people insane or just stupid?

How about, oh i dont know, Brian Billick? Got the Ravens to the Super Bowl and won, and yet the Ravens are never considered a threat to anyone?

How about John Fox, and the Panthers, how he turned that team around?

And Lovie Smith? I mean, the Bears are looking like a Super Bowl contender if you ask me (and im a Giants fan).

Some of you people just wow me with stupid answers.....

Parcells is not underrated. Everyone talks about how good a coach he is (even though it took him half the season to see that Romo was a better choice at QB this year). He has won Super Bowls with two different franchises, but he screwed over the Buccaneers a few years ago, and hasn't done much with the Cowboys. If anything, he is a little OVERrated.

I think Marv Levy was probably the most underrated coach of the era. He brought Buffalo to the big game 4 straight times, and even though they lost all of them, that is a pretty amazing accomplishment. When people bring up great coaches, he rarely comes up, so I think he is underrated.

the guy that said marv levy is right he was way underrated for what he accomplished.also marty schottenhimer is somewhat underated, he always had a contender with the chiefs and dont forget about those years with the browns when they came up short of a super bowl a few times.

Easy -- Chuck Knoll. The guy has 4 super bowl rings he totally pwned the 1970s ... and no one can even remember him, except for the people who think he's Chuck Knox.

i would have to say marv levy as well he was underrated but he did get them to the superbowl 4 years in a row in the early 90's but since they never won anything he didn't get much credit for all of his hardwork

I think I would agree with Parcells. Look who he has been able to control through his career.
