Tools,internet options,general tab,clear history. For yahoo search next to search box,click the drop down arrow,options,clear search history.

Just Double click on the Search Text Box. It will show you all the Search Texts you Typed. Scroll One-By-One, using Keyboard (Down Arrow), Press Delete Key. Thats it You'll see Nothing Next Time you Double Click The Text Box.

Go to the search text box, click in it like you are going to type something...
Dont type anything, but hit the DOWN ARROR on your keyboard...
You will see all your searches appear, scroll over each of them by hitting the DOWN ARROW, and while they are blue, simply hit the DELETE key.

If you're talking about IE, you go to Tools > Internet Options. Under the general tab look at the History section. Select the "Clear history" button.
