You should not feed a young RES ANY vegetables. As the young RED grows older, you can add some vegetables to the diet but even then they are not the majority of the diet and dark, leafy greens and aquatic plants are the best choices.

If you DO feed it peas, they should be fresh or thawed/frozen peas that have not been cooked since cooking will remove many of the nutrients.

If you meant peas, raw. If youre talking about a piece of chicken, cooked, but not very often.

thats a lie about feeding your young turtle veggies. you should start you turtle on veggies asap, so they get used to eating them. romain lettuce is good for them.
