My husband and I have it narrowed down to just a few names. Yesterday we found out we are having a boy!!! The names are Lincoln, Owen, and Gabriel. What do you think? Any other suggestions you have will be helpful in us deciding. THANKS

I like all three of those names. I think Lincoln would be really cute for a boy. If you like the other two names, I think they go great with Lincoln.
Lincoln Owen
Lincoln Gabriel
Personally, I like Lincoln Gabriel the best.

lincoln has some negative rhyming words- I had a friend whose last name was lincoln and'Stinkin' Lincoln" was how he was remembered.
Shortened to the colloquial "linK'- lancelot link was also an issue
If you like the name lincoln- maybe you should use it for a middle name.
The other names are nice- i would prefer owen to gabriel- "gabby", "gabe" and the fact that there is a feminine "gabriella" could be problematic
I grew up in a diverse neighbor hood- kids can be rough on the names of others.
Penelope- became pen-e- lope after it was mispronounced by a classmate
Jimmy Butz -became "runny" butz

Personally, I would choose Owen Gabriel. I'm not too crazy about the name Lincoln... but it's your choice. Good luck!

Lincoln is cool. It's very original. And he has a cool nickname of Linc. I might even name my son Lincoln!
And I like Gabriel as a middle name....Lincoln Gabriel...that's sound nice.

Lincoln - then he'll be called Log by the kids at school.
Gabriel sounds a bit sissy even though it's a wonderful name
Owen sounds very distinguished.
I myself think Alexander or Sebastian are good proud names for boys.

Lincoln is an awesome name.
Don't give him Owen, it is just not a good name overall.
Gabriel...thats okay.
But Lincoln now that is awesome.

I say you name him whatever you would like. As long as it is appropriate. Who cares what other people think! But... in my opinion, I like Lincoln. It is very nice and unique.
