Its not pent drive. Its is "PEN DRIVE".
Pen Drive is a memory device like floppy or CD. But the size will be very small and the memory capacity will be high. The name is coz it looks like a small pen in appearance.
It has a USB pin, which could be used to plug to the computer using a USB port.
Pen Drives of capacity 1GB are available at a cost of around 1500 rupees.

PEN DRIVE
A USB memory (typically 128Mb to 2GB) about the length of your little finger. 'Pen' refers to the method by which people carried them when they first came out - as 'hooked' to a shirt pocket like a pen.
'Drive' from hard disk drive, though this is NOT the same technology. A pen drive has no moving parts.

its a USB device that can store data from mere 16 MB to roughly 4 GB... its portable just like Floopy, CD, DVD... comes in the same family.
