I think that they are making a big mistake. Education is important, it's the key to the future. And they are being big morons for not knowing that.

However, if they drop out from school for a good reason, for example, they are already making big money or have other talents to pursue in life, then it's okay.

I think these individuals will make their lives 10 times harder in the long run. Struggling for a job, money, housing, food, just to name a few. Education is the key to anything. If they are dropping out and doing nothing they will have nothing and be nothing. They are making a choice that seems smart now, but will ultimately ruin their lives.

Not much you can do about it You have to wait it out. Eventually they grow up and realize they are missing an education and the job they want is not available to them because there are others appling for the same job. But they have the education. Non-educated jobs are going to involve more hard work for less pay and usually shift work.
Dropping out is giving up.

Most of the time no one gives a damn about them. Something is moving them away from studies and no one reaches out to find out what motivates.

Example: people hate being percieved as "dumb" so they claim school is "dumb" and walk away.
