They should of course.
The Starship Enterprise (according to its technical manual which I read as a teenager) has 'inertial dampers' and 'Heisenberg compensators' that compensate for the acceleration in the same way that they produce the artificial gravity on the ship.
When the creators of Star Trek were asked how these work they replied "Very well, thank you."
According to the manual these have a 'characteristic lag' which is why the actors get tossed about a bit when the ship colides with something or takes a hit from a weapon.

Star Trek has always featured the "what- if hypothesis" The answers are not available but based on what is known with some extrapolation, it should be possible. There are two systems in play. The propulsion of the craft and the stabilization of the environment within the craft. I see that possible by manipulation of gravity. After all, it would just be refining flight as we know it now. If we can think it, we are closer to the solution. I have always been intrigued by wormholes relative to time.

And how can you go faster than the speed of light? And how do they make the artificial gravity work? And how can you transport perople by dissolving their molecules?
Thre are a lot of questions about the science of Star trek.

Einstien's special theory on relativity shows that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, even second rate actors in plastic tv sets.

Because they have inertial dampners which push them forward with the same force that pushes them back when they go into warp

Because, like the rest of the ship, they are in the warped region of space and experience no acceleration. Simple, really. :-)

Their cabins are internal bubbles of ectoplasmic stasis fields that hold them stable during warp drive acceleration.

The ship does not move. It merely cause space-time to "warp".

Yeah, and where do they get the gravity? And the air to breathe? And why do all the aliens they encounter speak English?
