All surgey has risk, the type of anesthesia used, your general health.
With plastic Surgery the type of skin you have is also very important. If you are very fair skinned plastic surgery is not even reccomended.
The type of plastic surgery you are to have is also a factor in determining the risks. One is more likely to have a side effect with surgery of the face than that of well the chest (we will keep this pg13)

There a few side effect that can happen with plastic surgery that should be factored in also....
Bleeding
scaring
nerve damage
necrosis
skin reactions
suture reactions
infection

Just to name a few. Most of these are correctable with additional procedures with a good surgeon.

d & e are good for the skin and you'll want to stop any meds your on before the surgery as they promote bleeding but your Doctor will go all thru this before your proceedure.

Hope I gave a good picture to the risks involved.

anytime yo ugo under anasthesia, you are taking a risk that you may end up in a coma. Some people are even allergic to it! There is also the chance of getting internal bleeding after the procedure, or a life threatening infection. I know someone that had simple laproscopic surgery, got an infection 2 weeks later, and was fighting a blood infection in the ICU for months! they almost died. She was overweight, and taking medicine for health problems though. You have a good chance of a successful surgery if your body is not compromised with any immune disorders, or other health problems. The healthier you are the better the outcome and healing time of your surgery. Although, i=unless it is corrective, i am not an advocate. I am sure that you are a lovely person that doesn't need it.

It is scary and can be deadly too. n then what if the surgen is not good,,n the result turns out to even worse than before< I hate it when tv ppl promote these artificial things..like botox and this n that...it affects a lot of ppl ,they feel its normal to do it. Once they get started on these things theynever stop. It become an addiction, they find faults here n there and it goes on.
We should stick to our old ways,,,just enjoying nature and natural beauty and ageing naturally. Save that plastic surgery money for future needs,or just donate if u have plenty.

Any surgery that you decide to have done is extremely risky and there are complications to any surgery that you have done rather it is elective or necessary. Yes, they will operate on you if you are a smoker.

It varies with the type of surgery. The key is finding a very highly qualified surgeon. Otherwise, your risk factor is high.
