Er..how about
"I can resist everything except temptation" a nice little quote by Oscar Wilde...Why fight the demons, it is only society that tells us what is ultimately demonised or not..
Let us unite with the demons and fight conformity!!

Blue Faerie! You've gone through some persona changes lately, by the way, nice pants! Anyway, I have no demons of my very own, but I suppose by demons you mean your desires. Well if you fight your own desires then aren't you essentially at war with yourself? How can you possibly win such a battle? I don't know, but what happens when an immovable object meets an irresistible force? The immovable object demonstrates absolutely no resistance, thereby causing no conflict, or resultant movement?

You have to first recognize that this is the most important thing you can ever do. Nothing in your life will be right until you can come to terms with your inner issues, whatever they are. Hopefully this motivation will provide you the discipline to become the person you want to be. [recommended reading might be Steven Covey's 7 habits of highly effective people].

I think the only way of fighting your demon(s) is praying!

I assimilate them. Basically I internalize the fact that my inner demons are the things that keep me from my progress. So, I accept my faults and move forward regardless. Basically your inner demon is only as powerful as you allow it to be...so control it. ; )

I think mine all emerged in Iraq, so when i got back my buddy and i pretty much drank ourselves into oblivion, and now we just cope as best we can, trying to stay busy and not look back at them.

I don't fight them, honestly. I pray and offer them up to the Lord. It is His battle to fight, and I walk by faith.

First, identify them.
Second, determine what can be done to overcome them.
Third, face them and do what it takes to overcome them.
Fourth, monitor yourself so as to not allow them to return.
