I think very much inside our brain, there is a close conection between the thought of a gambler, someone who buys lotery or activates numbers by phone willing to win a prize, and the thought of a corrupted person who is looking forward to steal money somehow in his job, evade taxes, or a robber. That is, getting a reward easily. Am I wrong? Are there psicology studies over this?

I can see your angle, maybe the kind of person that compulsively plays the lottery might jump at the chance to get allot of money quickly and easily regardless of whether or not it was legal.

Not that I think this to be true but there could be some connection.

I like to gamble and buy lottery tickets every once and a while (when it's over 100,000,000). And I have never thought about stealing from my job or a bank. As for Tax evasion, there are many different reasons for doing that, such as making a mistake and when you file your taxes discover you owe a lot more and you can't afford to pay it. So you contact an agency to help you negotiate with the federal government.

But I understand that people are brainwashed into believeing that the government deserves every penny they ask for, when in a lot of cases they don't.

And it is also not wrong to hope for a nice leg up from a lottery win or good luck while playing slot machines.

Hey Folks ! Granny's are not the only people who do the lottery! I buy a ticket
(whenever there is a rollover , my eyes turn into £`s signs !! ) Actually I only buy a ticket about four times a year, so my chances of winning are not that great. Even so, I don`t rob banks either, nor evade taxes. Incidentally if my dear old Grandmother were alive to-day she would be horrified that we have such a thing as a lottery. She would definitely call it a sin.

Well, I think it's a very, very radical position to take that a nice granny who plays naively lottery now and then can be compared to a corrupted politician, by example. It sounds quite nut to my sensitive&small ears. Actually if someday we all decided to be so hard on our judgment regarding other people's 'mistakes', almost nobody would be 'saved' by the rules from religions that human race have been created along History indeed. So relax and buy a lottery ticket!

You just need to sign up and click ads or build your own ticket that is all. Very fun check this out. I like this site because they do not send me junk mail and survey. You can have fun first and think more deep how you feel

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying that people who play the lottery or gamble in any way are the same people who would rob and steal if given the chance? Rubbish.. my gran loves bingo but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't defraud anyone.
