yes it should.i know that there are some shows kids shouldn't watch.but some kids have TV in their rooms and the parents might not know they are watching show like desperate housewives.so i think the censors should cut down on the raunchy content on TV.and the cursing.

No. It should not be the resposibility of the TV networks to make sure children aren't watching. That's the parents job. Too many have used the TV as a "babysitter", and then often realize the mistake after it's too late.
Networks have bent over backwards to conform to the ever changing demands of the FCC and the general public. TV manufacturers have installed chips to program which stations can be accessed. If the child has a TV in thier room, and you think they have access to shows you don't find appropriate, program the "allowable" stations or simply TAKE AWAY THIER TV, they WILL live!
Parents are to blame, not TV.

Of course it should!
You cite examples that should be banned! Otherwise, and with God as my witness, you'd have the child porn channel within a month!!
And of course kids shouldn't see adult movies! Kids shouldn't see things until their parents deem them to be old enough to comprehend the messages, and know that there is a difference between what they see and reality.
And you don't say who should be censoring things. Most people think of "Censorship" as a government thing. However, the people who should do the most censoring are PARENTS, and quite frankly, they don't censor enough in many cases.

If you are a parent whose child does channel surf, YOU should be responsible for censoring what they see. Almost all tv's and cable, satelites etc have parent controls on them. If people are concerned then they should use them.

NO...because you are in control of what you watch....what may be offensive to you, may not be offensive to others.....I am highly offended by the Shyster's on late at night...trying to guilt people into sending money...in the name of the LORD...cannot stand it

yes it should be censored for young children so that they are not exposed to things that they are too young to be exposed to
