What an excellent question. Someone wiser than myself said that "All fall short of the glory of God" and "He who says he is without sin is a liar". So how do we reconcile that with "Be ye perfect as my heavenly Father is perfect" or "Nothing unclean shall enter heaven"? Is it true what one of the responders wrote that God sets us up for failure by giving us intellects and free will?
One of the great differences between Christianity and Islam is that a new covenant was made between God and man whereby we are made sons and daughters. God is now 'Abba' or Father, even Pappa. He is no longer simply our Master and we his slaves. This is a beautiful development of theology and those who embrace it personally strive to do their best each day in serving him quite simply by following the Golden Rule of "Love your neighbor".
If we see Christ in our neighbor and let our love of him change our lives every day then we can hope that he will accept us into his kingdom with the words: "Enter my good and faithful servant"
I personally can only hope that the little love I have shown in this life will cover a multitude of sins and rely on his wide mercy.

I on the other hand could not wait to meet my maker( the trinity ) Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I made an effort to have as close a relationship as humanly possible with them before my last day in the flesh. and it is in this relationship that i am able to have my thoughts renewed. Glory to the Trinity.

No.
My maker is infinitely greater and more intelligent than I am. My maker would know that was a lie and a cop-out.
Even if I tried to dedicate all my intelligence, energy and gave my entire life I could not use what's been given to me perfectly because I am not perfect.
I could however say... Forgive me but this is what I did with what you gave me, teach me what I should have done.

Wow! What a question.. mmm.. It is something for everyone to thinks about as we all gets older or sicker.
As for me personally, sadly no I can't because I have sins over and over (nothing too big of a sin but it stil a sin :-(.. )
I'm hoping since the almighty haven't come down and pull me out yet that I have time to TRY to do the best I can with the rest of the time I have.
Wish me luck...lol..

I will silently walk with them out , hoping to be free again. Only to look back and find that I was not at all imprisoned and my self imposed prison was imaginary. But I will not regret the past and will go with the hope that I would have a future.

if there is a maker, i would look him in the eye and ask him/her your question.i would ask why a being so powerful requires us to grovel before him/her. why they built a world so full of pain, misery and loathing. why did he/she give humanity the unique gift of intelligence and then condemn them to hell when they used it to interpret the evidence that they created. to be honest, if god exists, i think they as the responsible being have more questions to answer than i do.

I can't make a judgement whether I did the best or not. I would simply explain how much I tried..... again and again!!
