I have been taken part in this burlesque stripping programme and i decided on the day of the main stripping proformance that I didn't want to do the show. There are 6 other girls doing it and they have gone mad saying that i am seflish calling me up and shouting at me. None of the production team have called me and they have made out that they know nothing about me dropping out of the show to make good TV.

I want to know how I can stop them from using footage of me because there are going to make me look bad does anyone have know?

You will need to read your contract to see if there are any get-out clauses.

You will probably find it says they own the film (property) and can do whatever they wish with it.

Sorry.

If you agreed all the way along and then decided at the last moment to pull out, I think the television company has every right to be absolutely furious with you!
If they've filmed you, with your agreement, then at the last moment......
...I'm not sure there's an awful lot you can do.
You will very rapidly, if you do not go ahead, find yourself without a lot of work. Employers will not want a 'troublemaker' on their books!
This could open up all kinds of avenues for you.
What seems to be your problem with the broadcasting?..Could you not talk it over with the producer to see if there is any middle ground you would both be agreed on?
It really is in your interests to go ahead with this unless there are dire consequences should yoiu do so.
Have a good think about it.
Good luck to you.

You do not have to do anything you do not want to. You have a right to do what you want with your body. If you feel uncomfortable then do not give into peer pressure, that is the worse reason for doing anything.

I am not sure where you stand legally with what has already been shot, but do not give in just to please others, or to make life comfortable for them.

What is important is what you have decided to do. If others can't respect your decision than are they people you really want to know?

I would say it all depends on whether you signed anything to say you could be filmed. If you did i doubt there is no way you can stop them although. If you didnt then i cant see them been allowed to put it on air. Have you no local solicitors that offer free advice, it may be best to talk it through with them and see what your choices are. Good Luck.

Ooops. You had better think twice next time before you sign on the dotted line. You can't get to the last day and say no.

If you signed a contract to do the show, it seems like you are out of luck.
