I have been told by all my gynecologists (I move alot) that douching strips the lining of the vaginal wall and uterus and leaves a women open to infection. NEVER use vinegar. Saline is OK. If you take care of yourself hygienically then you really shouldn't have to douche.

Every woman has a distinctive smell "down there", do not confuse it with an infection or std....if you have noticed any thing different about your smell or have noticed any abnormal changes, let your doctor know about them. Douching is not good. Here is a great site to help answer some of your questions about it. Hope it helps you!!

I've been told by my gynecologist and in school, it is not good to douche. It washes away the natural flora in your vaginal area. And leaves it exposed to "bad" bacteria. If you are having issues with odor see your gyno you may have an infection. Otherwise regular soap and water will do just fine.

Never. The vagina naturally drains out. It is full of bacteria and chemicals that are balanced and keep it healthy. Nothing you can douche with will help the situation.

According to every medical expert I've heard/read on the subject, don't do it at all. Have a shower. The inside bits take care of themselves.

I would have to say never.
It is not necessary at all. The body naturally cleanses itself, there is no need to douche.
