Dipression is a serious trouble if not handled properly. There are medications available which can keep its symptoms down. If you are not regular with it once you start then it can be even more troublesome. People jump of the SanFransico bridge after forgetting to take their medications, otherwise healthy and intelligent people. Maintaining tighter controls over your family might help.

the problem to answer this question is that it largely depends on your worklife/private life balance, physical activity, age, location and to date accomplishments.

But a general thing that usually helps is change. and i mean small changes in your daily patterns. variation in habbits. surprise your wife with somethign you will see that the joy will spread and you can almost be sure that she will return the favor somehow. .... another good idea is exercise... the additional oxygen in the brain will activate your will to live and will let you feel alive... if all else fails try to find out if there were any dreams or goals you passed by... maybe it is not to late..
anoter thing that helped a friend of mine was activities with his son like camping or something... but dont force it

just by coming out of it. that's all
nothing can cure u, but ur mind itself.
u try to be with ur family, enjoy with kids, try to be happy with what u have and enjoy within.
if reason is known the solution woulg have been more better.
but for time being adapt this life style as told above for few days, u will know the difference.
when ever dep thoughts arise just get up and do something full of life, do livly things.

I think the most effective thing I did when I clawed my way out was doing lots of cardio exercise. I think the endorphin release really counters the depression. Also I became aware of negative thought loops and derailed them whenever they started, made myself think of other things.

If this doesn't help, see a doc, you owe it to your kids.

be positive first

say to yourself that i am the master of my fate,i am the captain of my soul.
behind the darkest clouds, the sun is shining. in the toughest situatinons, there is always some value that is inherently good.
our prayers are answered not when we are given what we ask, but when we are challenged to be what we can be .

be happy and enjoy

do you know depression is the reaction of our think so stop thinking just say to yourself iam happy
