Playstation one: Are learning cartridges available or games only? Explain please.?

I have a playstation one and would like to know if only games work and would there be games for kindergarten age kids to use? I am the grandmother and would really like to find out...

The PS1 reads PS1 games and music CDs. And out of thousands of PS1 games I'm sure there are at least a few games young children would enjoy playing.
