I got something from Walmart, that was already used. (Ipod). and it was a gift, and my mom doesnt know what she did with the receipt? Will they give me a refund?

Ipods and other electronic devices have a limited warranty. If you have had it more than a couple of weeks they will not take it back. I also bought an Ipod and the next week they came out with a bigger one, so I took it back and exchanged it for the better one. I had to have my receipt and sign forms for them to even consider swapping it.

Walmart has many different ways of allowing returns and it mainly depends on the store case by case because of the managers working there. Some are more relaxed about returns. After Christmas though, most will take back anything without a receipt so I'd try then. The one by me won't take back things that are above about $40 without a receipt and no electronics at all without one.

I would call Walmart and speak to their customer service department. I also wouldn't be satisfied with only one response (people are human and make mistakes after all). If you call the Walmart that you are going to try to get a refund for the product, make sure you WRITE the name of the person you spoke to on the phone. That way if there is any dispute about who told you something, you can give them a name.

you can try it, take it to the customer service center and tell them you couldnt find the reciept, they will most likely put what ever the amount of the product on a gift card to redeem only in the store

If you throw a big enough fit, Walmart will do just about whatever you ask them to do. Also, it's "accept." (Sorry, the wannabe English teacher in me made me say that.)

what until after christmas they will take anything back as an exchange, as long has you have the original box and everything that came with it.
