My roomate got all her books and I never believed her crap until he started telling me about her beliefs and they make a lot of sense. Should I give in to her? Or is she really full of it?

I grew up in a Christian household and believed everything I was told. When I got older, I started questioning beliefs in the Bible and the answers I got from my parents and pastor didn't make any sense, especially why God in the old testament and God in the new were two completely different entities. I was confused about life in general and was so miserable. I've seen Sylvia on Montel before and thought she was amazing. My mother-in-law let me borrow one of her books that Sylvia wrote and I read it in two days. I was completely enthralled by it. But the most amazing thing to me is that when I read that book, my heart felt homesick. What I read felt so familiar to me and in my head with all my reasoning made sense. Moreso than the Bible ever did. I read a few more of her books and found myself wanting more information. I went on my own little spiritual quest and I've never been more happy or at ease with this life. My advice is to read one of her books and see if what she writes feels right to you. See if it makes any sense to you. I'm sure you've heard the truth lies within you...and it does.

Sylvia brown is a beautiful spiritual God loving women whohas helped so many people all over the world. She does not charge police when they need her help solving a crime. I believe that she has a gift, but there's some things I've heard her say with regards to religion that I don't quite believe. They seem to go against the Bible. There are some things that are on the money, and others that I believe she keeps from people for whatever reason.

"What do you all think about Sylvia Brown?"

Fraud.

And so is John Edwards, that VanPraagh guy, & of course Miss Cleo.

See wikipedia.org for the terms "confidence game" & "cold reading".

And as an added freebie also see "pyramid scheme".

Full of it? She's overflowing, my friend. Septic tank can't handle her contents.

Yuck. I read many of her books and do not feel the same way she does about the other side.
"how many children will i have?"
"2"
oh come off it...i believe you have choices in life, not everything is soooo predictable as she makes it when she does her pseudo readings.

She is a fraud. My dumb sister watches her on Montel. Heck, I don't even watch such drivel as Montel, let alone when it has such $+()&& as Sylvia on it.
