Oh God yes !
but I'd help them up too

Funniest one was a while back when I was in the cinema with my girlfriend and a big lad came climbing the steps next to our seat in the dark with arms laden with Coke, popcorn and a big tray of cheesy nachos. He missed a step and went over pouring nachos and coke all over himself and got up with popcorn stuck to him. We couldn't stop ourselves. I felt so sorry for him but it was hilarious and the sniggers went all round the cinema. We howled about that the whole evening. Ah happy days they were.

Apparently the PC Brigade isn't on alert. Only the honest folks.

But wouldn't it be a better world to live in if people chose to stop and help that person back up, instead of laugh?

I think if we are honest then we all would, though not intentionally, when things like that happen you automatically laugh to yourself then go into rescue mode and help the person, its one of those things that make people laugh through panic.

depends on how they fell.

If it was some cocky *** walking down the street like they owned it and the world revolved around them and then the triped and fell, you better believe I'd laugh at them.

If it was an old man who just collapsed clutching his chest, no, then I'd call 911 and start performing cpr.

for anything in between, I tend to the jerkier side of life, so i'd more likely to laugh until it go closer and closer to the tradegy I explained second.

Have to admit that as I have got a little bit older, I don't laugh unless they are clearly young, fit and have only bruised their pride. I am more likely to want to make sure they are ok.

That's what Christina Applegate did when she saw River Phoenix collapse and die outside an LA nightclub.
