It's used secretly and dishonestly by students at school when writing tests. They usually prepare it in advance at home and they're very inventive in how to hide it from the teacher when using it at school. I need both the British and American English expressions, please.

It is called a Cheat Sheet in American English. I think the British might be a Crib Sheet. Hope this helps!

I would consider it a cheat sheet. Students make these cheat sheet ahead of time, so that when they get to class they can just pull it out without the teacher knowing it.
