To be Liberal is to be treasonous: to want to GIVE AWAY the nation's wealth to those who least deserve it. God has chosen the rich to be rich and successful. Those who deny God's choice must be punished. Those who would tax away God's bounty from His beneficiaries should be removed from office forthwith.

Oh I believe they do think. But they let how they feel govern what they think. They want Utopia and I can't blame them for that. We all do. But the difference is liberals fail to realise is there are consequences for all actions. And as long as actions are not considered first there will be negative consequences. Shoot there are cons that happen along with the pros on any subject.
Take abortion for instance. No one wants a child born that is unwanted and there will be cases when abortion is warranted, rape, incest, or the life of the mother would be justified. But just saying I want an abortion so I'll get one isn't.
Here is where the Utopia thing kicks in. In Utopia there would be no case where an abortion would be needed. In Utopia there is no rape, incest, and no medical situation where abortion would be necessary. In Utopia people would take the necessary precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancies. But guess what?
Utopia is a fictional society.
The biggest problem I have with liberals and their thinking is they want an 'easy button' for the solution to a problem. There's no responsibility required for most liberal solutions. Noting is ever anyones fault. Every problem is caused by some envioroment.
I believe in keeping things simple. And if there is a simple solution that only requires modification of behaviour, why not use it first.
