A friend asked me to put a marketing strategy together to help put bums on seat for an event. It seems it is now turning out alot more than expected. Also he doesn't have enoughtcapital at the moment and so cannot pay for my service until I begin to generate sales. I don't have the funds needed to run with this project at the moment and no one to turn to fro funds either. What do I do? If only I could start it off it does have the potential to be huge. I mentioned that it seems as if alot of the risk is being transferred to myself but what my friend said was that it is because he is outsourcing this part of the project to myself. Please I need some sound business advice here. It's also proving difficult to get others who will join me to carry out the telesales. This is because they know they can only get paid once the sales start coming through. what do I do? I don't want to lose out on this opportuninty.

This is a decision you're gonna have to make on your own. If you think there is definately potential with this opportunity, run with it, but since it sounds like you're doing all the work while they'll be the ones receiving the benefits for it, then I wouldn't do it, unless they make you a full fledge partner in the endeavor.

i believe that you should look into larger organizations for a loan and help as they are aware of what is happening most of the time and if it could possibly benifit them they will not say no. you may need to on the other hand need to explain to your friend that he may need to start looking for a joint partner who can then issue some money into the organisation.
