I'm bisexual and I know what you're going through. I've had gay/lesbians I knew stop talking to me when they found out I was bi because I wasn't queer enough anymore. I also get a lot of problems with people thinking that I'm interested in both sexes because I'm promiscuous, which is not the case.

As long as there's free will people are going to have an opinion on you no matter what you are and no matter who they are.

I know what kind of person I am. I am a loyal partner, I am not desperate for a date, and I am not confused. Love is not something that should be ignored, so why deny it depending on gender if gender isn't an issue for you?

Everyone has their own preference... gay, lesbian, straight... just because people are bisexual does not mean they want to have their cake and eat it too; it only means that we don't discriminate against sex. There's nothing bad about it. I respect everyone for who they want to love, I don't understand why we can't get the same in return.

Nothing. The term "bisexual" has received a bad name over the years because some people use the term bisexual to mean "I'll sleep with anything". Unfortunately the the image that sticks in the mind of everyone is either the drunken sorority girls in "Girls Gone Wild", crazy crazy Anne Heche, or the faux drunken sorority girls in "Girl on Girl Party Island: Anal Extravaganza". I gotta say I have a slight theory that everyone is bisexual to some degree or another. Everyone has at least one crush on someone of the same sex...Some people act on their urges, and some don't. So there's nothing wrong with BEING bisexual, its all in how you act. If you're going to be promiscuous, than you will be whether you're straight, bi or homosexual.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being bisexual. Most societies, however, have taboos against anything other than heterosexuality.

In a society--which probably does not exist--in which there were no discrimination, bisexuality would be the norm.

Bisexuality, like most anything, is not inherently good or evil. The good and evil come in how we choose to behave.

If you love people the best way you know how, it's hard to go far wrong!

Peace,
Stu...

Nothing at all. Just like there is nothing wrong with being straight, or gay.

But I will be honest. As a butch lesbian. I do not date bisexual women. Maybe i'm ignorant or call it what you will.

I dont care if a woman is bisexual at all. But I care if MY woman is bisexual.

Nothing. Being bisexual means you have access to 100% of the population instead of 50%. Better odds if you ask me!

What amazes me is the Gay/Lesbian (not many mind you) who wanna think that if you're saying your bi, you are really gay/lesbian but just don't wanna admit it.

It reminds me of the fundamentalists who claim that atheists are really just mad a god and when they are close to death will convert back.

Why hard is it to believe someone else is different than you?

I'm bi. I'm attracted to men and women. Women more so than men. If I were forced to choose one gender over the other, it would be women. However, I'm not forced to choose. Different people fall at different places on that continuum. I'm attracted to whom I'm attracted to. If someone doesn't accept this, then they usually have their head up their nether regions.

There is nothing wrong with being bi-sexual. You cannot control what feelings you have. Women to me are beautiful specimens, and I don't find anything wrong with it. Variety is a must in my book.

Nothing. The same as there is nothing wrong with any group of people.

The only thing wrong with it is all the misguided people, straight and gay, who think there's something wrong with it and are ever so willing to tell you so.
